Sussana Wesley Mission Auxiliary at Calvary Society Adabraka, Accra was inaugurated on Sunday 29th Octoer, 2000 with fifty (50) memebers by the Most Rev. Dr. Samuel Asante Antwi, Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Conference, Ghana.

This achievement was realised through the efforts and persistent entreaties to the Accra Diocese by Sisters Yacoba Agyeman, Serwaa Yeboah Afari, Comfort Asante Antwi, Mercy Ghanatta and Elizabeth Arthur who were the members who attended the first meeting of SUWMA on 8th June 2000.

Currently we have on record one hundred (100) members but due to distance, business, ill health and other reasons, the weekly attendance at meetings hover around forty members. New members are added to our numbers monthly. Meetings are held every Thursday between 4:30 pm and 6:00pm.

Members are divided into four houses namely:

• RUTH (Expressing Faith, Obedience and Steadfastness)
• MARY (Expressing Humility and Obedience)
• DEBORAH (Expressing Courage Faith and Obedience)
• LYDIA (Expressing Love and Generosity)

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

1. To promote evangelism on the whole and Methodism in general.
2. To promote Unity, Love and Friendship among members and to co-operate with other organisations in the church
